Working Group establishes and drafts the design requirements for FpML and CDM (e.g. Design Authority) as needed for DRR purposes. This Working Group takes in requests from the ISDA DRR Technical Execution Working WG to potentially change the CDM so that the Technical Execution WG is able to proceed with DRR modeling. This Working Group is responsible for communicating/contributing relevant changes to FINOS governance framework for merging into CDM.

Committee: ISDA Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) Steering Committee
ISDA Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) Steering Committee provides oversight and coordination across the ISDA Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) initiative. The Committee, comprised of institutions who have reporting obligations under a particular set of trade reporting rules and intend to adopt the DRR for such reporting rules, determines the scope and priorities for DRR development and maintenance.

The Credit Steering Committee (CSC) is one of ISDA’s Product Steering Groups comprised of both dealers and buy-side firms with representation from senior business leads at each institution. The CSC is the governing body which meets to discuss issues affecting the business and practice of credit derivatives trading. This group is responsible for providing business leadership on the evolution of the asset class and ensuring appropriate levels of product standardisation are achieved; working with operational groups to coordinate the collective industry infrastructure initiatives to meet regulatory and business requirements and providing asset class expertise for ISDA’s advocacy agenda.

Focusing on UMR implementation for Phases 5 and 6, custodians (triparty and third party) will work together to develop tools and educational/outreach initiatives for successful Sept 2020 and Sept 2021 implementation. This group is only open to custodian firms and their employees.
Committee: ISDA Digital Assets Legal Group
This group will identify legal issues relating to digital assets and work to develop documentation for digital assets and crypto-derivatives.
Committee: ISDA Derivative Operations Group
The Derivative Operations Group is responsible for addressing post-trade operational challenges and opportunities for the derivatives industry (cross asset class), including infrastructure and technology challenges and opportunities. The Group’s objective is to achieve best practice where necessary and create efficiencies in respect of operational matters.
Committee: ISDA Cross-Border Regulatory Working Group
The ISDA Cross-Border Regulatory Working Group will lead responses to several regulatory proposals related to the application of US derivatives laws on cross-border derivatives trading. The SEC proposal is expected to be released in May 2019 and the CFTC proposals are expected to be released by Q4 2019.
