The ISDA CCP Committee is a forum for representatives of CCPs that are members of ISDA to discuss regulatory, legal, policy, risk, infrastructure and other issues facing CCPs that clear OTC derivatives as the markets for these products continue to evolve. It will interact with the Product and Infrastructure Committee Board Committee.

Committee: ISDA Asia-Pacific Legal & Regulatory WG - North Asia

The committee consists mainly of legal professionals and holds monthly meetings in Hong Kong. Legal and regulatory developments in Asia-Pacific (with a focus on North Asia), as well as notable developments in the rest of the world, and ISDA initiatives and efforts in the preceding month are discussed at the meeting.

Committee: ISDA Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Group

The ISDA Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Distribution List will conduct discussions around the use of arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution in derivatives transactions globally. This includes the development of model language for arbitration and jurisdiction clauses in the ISDA Master Agreement and work on future versions of the ISDA Arbitration Guide.

The Asia-Pacific-India working group addresses business and regulatory issues of importance to ISDA members in this region. In view of enacted and pending legislation in India, there have been increasing efforts in the region to address these issues.

Committee: ISDA Asia Capital Group

The ISDA Asia Capital Group serves as a forum for issues related to the implementation of Basel III standards that are relevant to derivatives in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan). The focus of the forum is to coordinate responses to Basel-III related consultations that are applicable to derivatives from regulators in the region. The group determines and coordinates responses through industry discussions and regulatory advocacy by coordinating with the relevant global Risk & Capital forums.
