The ISDA India’s derivatives market white paper advisory group is open to representatives from front office, legal, compliance, policy and risk. The ISDA India’s derivatives market white paper advisory group is set up to review and guide the appointed consulting firm in coming up with the white paper on “Boosting OTC Derivatives Market in India”.

The Indonesia Distribution List addresses topical issues of importance to ISDA members active in this jurisdiction, such as submissions on proposed new laws and regulations.

The European Tax Working Group (ETWG) addresses emerging issues in taxation, liaising with representatives of major institutions and government organizations such as HM Treasury (HMT) and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in the UK and other European civil service departments including the European Commission. The ETWG reviews policy and operational issues arising from current and proposed taxes and levies in the financial sector that may impact derivatives markets across Europe.

The group focuses on facilitating and addressing issues related to the prudent development of the range of commodity derivatives transactions ranging from documentation to market practice.

The working group will discuss all matters relevant to the accounting of ESG debt and derivatives and their impact on ISDA’s members balance sheet and profit and loss account.

This committee will analyse consequences of the EC’s proposed CCP supervision and location policy, develop an industry position and drive advocacy.

The working group aims to establish and validate (further) key advocacy positions and the arguments behind them; to draft amendments when appropriate, and to draw down data from member firms.

A sub-Working Group of firms working in an advisory or consultancy capacity for ISDA in ISDA’s global Digital Regulatory Reporting initiative.

The Equity Market Infrastructure Group is responsible for addressing OTC Equity Derivatives specific operations issues. It will take direction and seek guidance from the Market Infrastructure and Technology Oversight Committee (MITOC) and the Equity Steering Committee (ESC) on strategic deliverables while being the forum where tactical and day to day issues are raised, discussed and resolved.

The Equity Steering Committee (ESC) is one of ISDA’s Product Steering Groups comprised of both dealers and buy-side firms with representation from senior business leads at each institution. The ESC is the governing body which meets to discuss issues affecting the business and practice of equity derivatives trading. This group is responsible for providing business leadership on the evolution of the asset class and ensuring appropriate levels of product standardisation are achieved; working with operational groups to coordinate the collective industry infrastructure initiatives to meet regulatory and business requirements and providing asset class expertise for ISDA’s advocacy agenda.
