This template enables parties to agree on a threshold amount applicable to each posting party in order to benefit from the documentation relief under the Japanese regulatory margin requirements in the case where the bilateral initial margin amount does not exceed 7 billion Japanese yen threshold. This document is intended to be used primarily for Japanese domestic trading relationships but can be modified for use in cross-border transactions with a Japanese counterparty.
